There are 19,500 new cases (approximately) adds in INDIA in last 24 hours, and the world count is go on 189,077.

Coronavirus update: India has recorded 19,459 cases in the last 24 hours — for a third day running. The Covid-19 death toll in the country stands at 16,487. Asserting that the coronavirus pandemic could not continue forever, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said “no storm can continue forever". The number of containment zones in Delhi has risen to 417. The national capital has over 83,000 cases of coronavirus. Maharashtra has recorded over 5,493 cases in the past 24 hours, taking its total number of Covid-19 cases to 164,626.

 Over 3.2 lakh patients have recovered, while 2.1 lakh infections are still active.

In the Northeast, Manipur and Assam have announced the extension of the lockdown. Assam’s Kamrup Metropolitan district — which includes Guwahati city — is under total lockdown till July 12, 6 pm. While the first seven days are stringent, the subsequent seven days may be more relaxed. In Manipur, the curbs have been extended till July 15. However, Biren Singh said the state has also decided to allow operation of inter-district bus service from July 1 by strictly maintaining SOPs and guidelines issued by the government. No other public transport system will be allowed during this period, he added.


Maharashtra set to extend lockdown

Maharashtra, India's worst-hit state, is set to follow Manipur in extending its coronavirus lockdown, which was due to end on 30 June.

Maharashtra's chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray, has said that restrictions will continue to be eased to help boost the economy, but warned: "We are walking on the edge, we have to walk slowly. Just because relaxations are being given, people shouldn't think that the battle is over. It's not."




 
Coronavirus world update: More than 10.24 million people around the world have been diagnosed with Covid-19. While more than 5.5 million have recovered, 504,410 have died so far, according to according to Worldometer.

Country-wise, the United States remains the worst-hit country with 2,637,077 cases and 128,437 deaths. It is followed by Brazil (1,345,254 cases, deaths 57,658), Russia (634,437 cases, 9,073 deaths), and India (549,197 cases, 16,487 deaths).

      Latest Headlines of the week.. * CSK V/s MI Result :- The IPL (Indian Premier League) 2020 will started yesterday and the first between CSK and MI will be finished, both the teams played very well. And after a long time all players will play cricket. The IPL is held in UAE (United Arab Emirates ). The first match is over which will played in " Sheikh Abu Zayed". Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will definitely do his come back after winning yesterday's match, but both teams play very well and MI gives the target of 163 which CSK chased before completing 20 overs but that is very difficult for CSK to chase that target, the will gone to the last over.
