Terrorists Attack on CRPF Jawan's at Pulwama


CRPF Jawans  at Pulwama, and injured because of the IDE's set by the Terrorists.
One CRPF jawan injured in IED attack by terrorists in Gangoo area of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. It is suspected that the attack was to target a CRPF convoy; area cordoned off, search operation underway. More details awaited: Central Reserve Police Force.

A CRPF jawan suffered injuries in an IED attack by terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Sunday.

The explosion took place in Gongoo area of Pulwama this morning when security forces were passing through the area. It is being suspected that the attack was to target a CRPF convoy.

The security forces fired few shots in the air after the blast, the officials said, PTI reported.

The area has been cordoned off and search operation is underway. No casualties have been reported.

Last month, terrorists hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force camp at Batagund in the Tral area of Pulwama district. The CRPF personnel had also fired in the air following the explosion.
